Will Michael and Susan Dell or Invest America have access to my family’s personal information?

No. Invest America, Michael and Susan Dell, and the Dells’ philanthropies do not have access to any information about individual Trump Accounts. Questions about account information, account access, and privacy should be directed to TrumpAccount.com.

Are the contributions to Trump Accounts really free?

Yes. Both the federal newborn credit and the Dell $250 are contributed directly to your child’s account at no cost to your family and with no obligation. The goal is a head start for children so they can be invested in the American economy as early as possible and get the benefit of compounding over time.

Why should I trust an account I didn’t create myself?

Trump Accounts are administered through the official program established by the U.S. Treasury. Families can access and review account information directly through the Trump Accounts app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, TrumpAccounts.gov, or TrumpAccount.com.

Can I close or opt out of my child’s Trump Account?

Families who have questions about account management should visit TrumpAccounts.gov.

Do I have to contribute my own money to my child’s Trump Account?

No. There is no requirement to contribute your own money to maintain a Trump Account. Additional contributions are optional and subject to applicable program rules.

Is this connected to a political campaign?

No. Trump Accounts are administered by U.S. Treasury through official federal program systems and processes.

Why was a Trump Account created for my child if I didn’t sign up?

The U.S. Treasury has created Trump Accounts automatically for eligible children through the new auto-enrollment process. The goal of auto-enrollment is to help more eligible children benefit from a long-term investment account, whether or not their families were aware of the program or had taken action to create an account. Families still choose whether to access and activate the account.
